Can You Tie and Dye?

Step 1

Firstly, collect the materials you’re going to use.

Step 2

Pleat, fold and tie string around pieces of cotton.

Step 3

Make up the dye in old basins or buckets.

Step 4

Place your pieces of fabric into the dye bath and leave overnight.

Step 5

Using rubber gloves, remove the fabric from the basin. Rinse and leave to dry.
