| Firstly, collect the materials

| Lay the silk out flat and use the
gutta to create a design or a picture on the silk
fabric. |

design, begin to brush your silk paints onto the

| Watch the paints mix and merge
to create glowing colours. Watch how the gutta creates

| Look at the lovely bright painting
created here. This is a still life of a bowl of
fruit. The gutta used here was black. You can use
this technique to create all sorts of pictures on
